Blaine Receives Professional Accreditation

St. John Fisher College Statistics Professor, Dr. Bruce Blaine, has been awarded the status of Accredited Professional Statistician™ by the American Statistical Association.

The PStat® designation is a portfolio-based recognition by peers that Blaine has appropriate graduate statistical training, experience in using statistical expertise competently in applied settings, maintaining appropriate professional development, communicating effectively, and abiding by ethical standards of practice.

Blaine directs the Statistics Program at Fisher, which offers both a major and minor in statistics. He also co-teaches a course on Assessment, Program Evaluation, and Organizational Improvement in the Ed.D. Executive Leadership Program, and serves as a statistical and research consultant for individuals and groups in the community.
