Alum Wins Emmy
David Everhart ’03 was a winner at the 63rd Annual Creative Arts Emmy’s, which took place on September 10 in Los Angeles.
Everhart won an Emmy for Outstanding Visual Effects in a TV movie, Miniseries or Special as the Visual Effects Producer of Gettysburg, which aired on the History Channel in May.
While at Fisher, he was an English major and had a passion for screenwriting. He moved to Hollywood in 2003, building up an impressive list of accomplishments.
He has served as visual effects producer on several popular television series, including “Saving Grace,” “Lincoln Heights,” “Monk,” “Lipstick Jungle,” and “Desperate Housewives,” to name a few. He is best known for his work on movies, including, “Bobby,” “Idiocracy,” “The Air I Breathe,” and “Penelope.”
