Why Study the Arts at Fisher?

Do you love music, theater, or visual art? Are you interested in exploring how the arts impact our culture? With a minor in Visual and Performing Arts, you'll be able to do just that!

The interdisciplinary nature of the arts minor will encourage you to view creativity as a multidimensional human attribute and to explore a variety of arts-related fields.

Explore Your Artistic Side

With a minor in Visual and Performing Arts, you'll take classes in visual art and culture, music, and theater. You'll be exposed to many forms of artistic expression through courses such as:

  • Beginning Painting/Drawing
  • Film and Society
  • Acting for Beginners
  • Digital Art
  • Introduction to Dance
  • Basic Music Theory
  • And many more!
