School of Arts and Sciences

The School of Arts and Sciences at St. John Fisher College offers degrees in over 20 undergraduate disciplines along with master's degrees in International Studies and Math/Science/Technology Education. Our programs are home to over 1000 undergraduate students majoring in the humanities, natural sciences and mathematics, social sciences, and interdisciplinary studies. The School of Arts and Sciences is primarily responsible for the Core Curriculum, the foundational educational experience of all undergraduate students at the College. Through its academic programs, co-curricular activities, and experiential opportunities, the School of Arts and Sciences prepares students to lead lives of integrity and thoughtful engagement in the public and private spheres. By striving to provide an environment characterized by respect for individual potential, high expectations, and open and critical inquiry, we develop the capacities of our students, ourselves, and our communities.

Dotolo, MacGregor, and Bicket Present at Inter-University Seminar on Armed Forces and Society Conference

Dr. Dougie Bicket of the Communication/Journalism Department, and Dr. Frederick Dotolo and Dr. David MacGregor, both of the History Department, presented papers at the Inter-University Seminar on Armed Forces and Society Biennial International Conference in Chicago on October 23. The three professors participated as part of a panel, "Cross-Disciplinary Perspectives on British Counterinsurgency and Revolutionary Warfare," led by Dr. Dotolo. Read More
